The Case Management Department ensures the safe and expedited release of unaccompanied children in care. Case management assesses all potential sponsors to determine the ability to provide for the child's physical and mental well-being. Case management assesses, communicates and documents all services provided while the child is in care.
Case management maintains direct contact with the child and their potential sponsors. Case management communicates and works together with Third Party Reviewers and Federal Field Specials to ensure the child is in the appropriate level of placement and that the possibilities for a safe and timely family reunification release are fully explored.
